From September 19th to October 13th
“For Blanca Li, to focus her attention on the future of the planet in 2017 is an imperative. She takes on the relationships between humans and nature. This is an organic show that conjures the breath of air, the coolness of the rain, the dance of a falling leaf, etc. Whatever keeps our ecosystem balanced in the midst of an ecological crisis and climate skeptic controversies. To implement these sensitive interactions with our environment, the choreographer and her scenic designer developed an original set, a pervasive and ever-shifting decor that in turn becomes cloud, earth, sky or wind. Set to music developed from “natural” sounds, the bodies of the fourteen dancers move in unison conveying a universal message: “The responsibility of us all is to prepare the future and protect what surrounds us.”
