Fendi for fountains: The Glory of Water July 4 to 14
Luxury Italian fashion house Fendi and its creative director Karl Lagerfeld pledged about 2 million euros to restore some of Rome's historical fountains including the famous Trevi fountain. As part of the initiative, Karl Lagerfeld has taken photographs of some of Rome's beautiful fountains, and is showcasing them in Paris from July 4th to July 14th. The exhibit is entitled "The Glory of Water" and is set up on the banks of the river Seine in Paris, underneath the Alexandre III bridge. A 120-page coffee table book will also be edited by Steidl for the occasion.
