L' Art du Jardin -Garden in the Grand Palais May 31st to June 3rd
We know, once again, we are talking about the Grand Palais, but it is really a beautiful space with great events!
L'Art du Jardin or "the Art of Garden" will take place between May 31st and June 3rd.
Aude de Thuin first organized this show, centered around gardens, in 1993. It bought together gardeners, nurserymen, designers, craftsmen, perfumers... Ten years later, the Grand Palais will transform itself once again in the world's biggest "greenhouse" for one weekend. This coincides with the 400th anniversary of famed French garden designer Andre Le Notre.
In the center of the Grand Palais you will find about forty gardens with different themes such as organic artworks, Mediterranean garden, impressionist garden, Japanese garden... Surrounding that, about fifteen gardens ranging between 50 and 300 squared meters. Several art galeries are also participating in the event and will feature some of their major art pieces. If you go, make sure to look at Francis Kurkdjian's garden of scented paper. He is one of our favorite perfumers.
