October 18th to February 23rd
The first large scale exhibition of the abstract painter Serge Poliakoff (1906-1969) since 1970: in all, some 150 works from the period 1946-1969 will be shown.  He was one of the most important members of the Ecole de Paris.
The exhibition is backed up by documentary material (photographs, visual and sound archives) providing an insight into the Russian born French painter's life.
