Sacred Art of Tibet March 14th to July 21st
Art sacré du Tibet at the Fondation Pierre Bergé Yves Saint Laurent
An exceptional collection of Himalayan art.
For its 19th exhibition, the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent is displaying the masterpieces of the collection of the Fondation Alain Bordier, who for over 30 years has gathered nearly 400 Buddhist religious objects.
Through about 127 objects, you will discover Tibetan Sacred Art and its Indian and Nepalese origins.
The collection is composed of rare works that are not often displayed in national museums and that date back to the 6th century for some of them.
We went to see this expo right after seeing the Keith Haring exhibition at the MAM. The two museums are only a couple of minutes walking distance.
3 rue Léonce Reynaud, 75116 Paris
Open from Tuesday to Sunday from 11.00am to 6.00pm (last entry at 5.30pm)
