Tamara de Lempicka - Pinacothèque April 18th to Septembre 8th
If you love Art Deco as much as we do, then we strongly advise you to go check the Tamara de Lempicka expo at the Pinacoteque.
Throughout the exhibit you will understand how she was known to be one of the symbol of the roaring twenties but also the "queen of art deco".
De Lempicka's struggles and scandalous affairs seem to be reflected in the dramatic artwork that she produced throughout her life. She was an independent and opinionated woman, but she also used her beauty and charm to enter the prominent art circles.
She has a captivating way to represent woman: sensual, sophisticated and bold. It is honestly the type of expo where you want to sit down and take time to admire each paintings' clean and elegant lines, precision of forms, depth of each face, and her use of light.
