Huitrerie Regis: great oyster bar in the 6th
If you like oysters, we highly recommend you to go to Huitrerie Regis, which is located 10 minutes walking distance from our boutique hotels. It is one of the best places to eat oysters in Paris. This casual oyster bar only sits 20 people. You will find top-of-the line oysters from the Marennes-Oléron region. The Marennes Oléron oysters benefit from a know-how transmitted from generation to generation in a territory which is unique in the world. Served alongside you will get thin slices of rye bread, high quality butter, and sauce mignonette (red wine vinegar with minced shallots). They also have a great selection of white wines to go with it. Depending on the season you might get also shrimp, clams, and urchins, but obviously the oyster is king!
