Paris Design Week - September 9th-15th 2013
For one week, Paris will dedicate itself to design. The goal of Paris Design Week is to "celebrate design and share with a growing French and international audience the emerging trends of the year and demonstrate the vitality of Paris, Capitale de la Creation."
The Paris Design Week has seven routes:
1. Art & Design
2. Design & Architecture(s)
3. Iconic Design
4. Digital Design
5. Design in France
6. Food & Design
7. Design and Mobility
Institutions, studios, workshops, galleries, stores, markets, hotels and restaurants: over 230 participants and about 150 events.

The epicenter of this week will be at Les Docks, Cité de la Mode et du Design, where "now-le off" will be taking place. Over 3000 squared meters open to young designers and the avant garde.

For the second year, the Carrousel of the Louvre will also be one of the major participant of the event. The French federation of design will have an exhibit under the Louvre pyramide.
